This policy covers the Srimad Gita mobile app and website, published by Decentralized Inc.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information: When you create or sign in to an app account, we collect your email address and account identifier, along with profile name and profile photo information provided by your sign-in provider.
- App content and activity: We process the questions and recent conversation context you submit for AI guidance. Account-linked data can include saved chat history, reading progress, activity, streaks, achievements, usage counts, preferences, and feedback.
- Subscriptions: We process subscription status, purchase history, and identifiers used to associate purchases with your account. Google Play or Apple handles store payments.
- Usage and diagnostics: Analytics and crash-reporting services collect app interactions, app and device identifiers, approximate location inferred from network information, and crash and device diagnostics. Usage events may include topic categories inferred from submitted questions.
- Guest requests: Guest AI requests may use a guest identifier and IP address for usage limits and abuse prevention.
- Website use: Our website uses Google Analytics and hosting services to understand visits and maintain the site.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Sign you in, maintain your account, and synchronize supported app data.
- Provide AI guidance, verse recommendations, reading features, and subscription access.
- Understand usage, diagnose errors, improve the app, and enforce usage limits.
- Respond to feedback, support inquiries, and account or data deletion requests.
3. Data Storage & Security
Some data, such as offline content and local preferences, is stored on your device. Account, chat, progress, feedback, and subscription features also use cloud services. Data exchanged with these services uses encrypted connections.
We retain account-linked data to provide these features until you request deletion, subject to any necessary legal or security retention. Our Delete Account page explains the request process, the 30-day completion period after ownership verification, local device data, and retention exceptions.
4. Service Providers

- Google and Apple: Supported sign-in options and app-store services.
- Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics: App usage measurement and reliability diagnostics.
- RevenueCat: Purchase and subscription management.
